Edyta Fil graduated in 1999 from the F. Chopin Music Academy, Warsaw, Poland in the flute class of Prof. E. Dastych-Szwarc. In 2004 she completed the following post-graduate specialisation courses in the National Conservatory of the Region of Strasbourg, France:

flute classes by Prof. Claire Gentilhomme and Prof. Mario Caroli (contemporary music specialisation)

chamber music class by Prof. Craig Goodman.


She attended master-classes by the following professors: J. Baker , M. M. Kofler, S.Milan, P. L. Graf, S. Cherier, P. Bernold, P. Meisen, P. Bernold, B. Fromanger, A. Adorjan, P. Bernold and J. Bexstresser.


She has given the following masterclasses:

2005 - contemporary flute music masterclass at F. Chopin Music Academy, Warsaw

2008 - contemporary flute music masterclasses at P. Tchaikovski Conservatory, Moscow

2009 - Rachmaninov Hall in Moscow Conservatory, Russia

2016 - V. International Flute Festival in Music Academy of Poznan, Poland

2016 - Masterclass from Maestro project, Russia (a Russian project providing masterclasses for talented children and casting young solo players to perform with a professional Moscow chamber orchestra)

Master-classes in Krasnodar, Jekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and many others.


She has won the following prizes at competitions: 2nd prize in the Polish National Woodwinds  Competition, Olsztyn, Poland (1992); 4th award in the International Chamber Music Competition in Castelfidardo, Italy (1995); 3rd prize in the International Chamber Music Competition in Klingenthal, Germany (1996):


Since 2009, Edita has been resident to “Moscow Philharmonic” as a member of “GAM” ensemble of contemporary music, Moscow. She played concerts with the Polish Radio Orchestra, Moscow Chamber Orchestra “Four seasons” and “Russian chamber orchestra”. She performed solo and chamber concerts on the following festivals: “Laboratorium” Contemporary Music Festival in Warsaw, “Homecoming” in Moscow Conservatory; “Other space” Festival in Moscow Philharmonic Hall,  “Moscow autumn” Festival, “Eurasia” in Jekaterinburg Philharmonic, “December evenings” in Moscow and many others.  Also played concerts in Austria, Spain, Morocco, Croatia, Switzerland, Latvia, Lithuania, France.

The composers A. Wustin, N. Popov and others dedicated their compositions to her.
