Sofia was born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria in 2008. She started studying piano at the age of 6 in the National School of Music and Dancing Arts “Dobrin Petkov”, Plovdiv. Since March 2018 she lives in the UK. Currently she studies piano at the Royal Birmingham Junior Conservatory.

Sofia obtained numerous prizes in national and international piano competitions: International Competition for Young performers of Classical Music: 1st prize; Golden Key piano competition: 3rd Prize in 2015 and 2016; Piano Competition “Schumann-Brahms”, Plovdiv: 2nd prize; X International Piano Competition Stella Oslekova: 3rd prize; International piano competition Belgrade, Serbia: 2nd prize.

She attended masterclasses with prof. Viktor Chuchkov, prof. Atanas Curtev, prof. Anna Petrova and others.
