Maria Golovchenko began studying at the age of 4 on the flute, visiting classes at the Children's school of arts No. 1 of Yaroslavl, with Simonyan Vladimir Artushovich.

From the age of 5, she is a soloist of a brass band of Yaroslavl. She performed with the State Orchestra of Russia. Since January 2016 Maria began to play a saxophone.

Maria has the following awards:

Diplomas of the winner of the Open city festival "We Play and Will Eat with Brass Band" (Yaroslavl, March 2016, 2017, 2018).

Diploma of the 1st degree of the 10th International competition of jazz collectives and soloists "The musical spring – to children" (Yaroslavl, on March 25, 2017).

Winner of the 1st degree, 4th International Variety Competition for children and youth "A jazz roundabout" (St. Petersburg 2018).

The Winner the 1st award in the 2nd International musical competition of young performers “Vyatskoe Music Competition" (on April 16 – on June 14, 2018)
