Lara Arbajter, born in Belgrade, Serbia, started playing piano at the age of 6 in prof. Elena Sever's class at the music school "Vatroslav Lisinski"

 

Since September 2016 Lara has been learning piano from prof. Dragomir Bratic at music school "Davorin Jenko" where she attends the 4th grade. In her musical education, Lara has won numerous awards at national and international competitions (22 1st prizes and 4 2nd prizes), among which stand out:

  • International music competition "Davorin Jenko", Serbia 2013 and 2015: 1st prize and 2016: Laureate in her age group.
  • From 2013 to 2016, she won numerus 1st prizes ("Slavenski" - Belgrade and Novi Sad, "Festival Isidor Bajic", "Little Virtuoso", Republican competition of music and ballet schools of Serbia). On International music competitions "Concours Flame" , Paris (France) 2013, she won the 1st prize and also at "Ivan Rijavec", Slovenia 2014 - 1st prize.
  • International competition "Citta di Gorizia" (Italia): 1st special prize "Primo premio assoluto".
  • International piano competition "Banjalucki bienale", Bosnia and Hercegovina 2014, she won the 1st Special prize and Laureate in her age group.
  • At the "Memorieal Jurica Murai" Varazdin (Croatia) 2015 she was Laureate of her age group and won a special prize for the most promising young pianist.
  • At piano competition "Piano talents", Milano (Italy) 2015 she has won 1st prize.
  • At the international competition "Young Virtuoso" 2016 Zagreb (Croatia) she won 2nd prize and special prize for the best performance of the obligatory piece by Croatian composer Davor Bobic.
  • 1st prize at the international competition "Grand Prize Virtuoso London" 2016 and invitation to play in the Gala concert at Royal Albert Hall.
  • 1st prize at the "Concours international de piano Alexandre Scriabine" Paris (France) 2016 and she took part of concerts of Laureates in Russian conservatorium "Alexandre Scriabine" in Paris.
  • At the International competition "Petar Konjovic" , Belgrade, 2016 she won the 2nd prize.

 

She played at numerous concerts and festivals in Belgrade: the Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment, National library of Serbia, Cvijeta Zuzoric Art Pavilion, Bunt festival, Cult festival as well at Laureates' concerts at home and abroad where she was winner of the competition.

 

This year Lara took part in the Masterclasses of Prof. Ruben Dalibaltayan (Croatia-Armenia) and Prof. Evgeny Starodubtsev (Russia).

 

Except piano, Lara shares passion for ballet and she attends the 1st grade of ballet school.
