Dalia Cholakova (born in September 2007 in Sofia, Bulgaria) took her first violin lessons at the age of five. Currently she is a student of Mrs. Blagorodna Taneva at the National Music School “Lyubomir Pipkov” in Sofia.


Her first National Competition with international participation “Orpheus gift” brought her a first prize and a gold medal in 2014. The same year Dalia was awarded a first prize and a gold medal  at the International Competition of Young Musicians playing classical instruments, Pernik, Bulgaria. She won another first prize at the VII International  String Competition in Nis, Serbia.


Dalia Cholakova has already worked with such renowned violin professors as Svetlin Roussev (Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris), prof. Dora Schvarzberg (Vienna), Dimitar Burov (Head of strings at Harrow School in London). 


She also participated in the Workshop Vienna 2015 with the young and succesful violinists and teachers Zornitsa Ilarionova and Maria Ramalchanova. 


Dalia has given successful performances in Kaisersaal (Vienna), St. Peter's Cathedral, Crypt (Vienna), The National Palace of Culture (Sofia, Bulgaria), Ivan Vazov National Theatre (Sofia, Bulgaria), Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts (Plovdiv, Bulgaria), Polish Institute (Sofia, Bulgaria), Youth Theatre Nikolai Binev (Sofia, Bulgaria)
