Andrea Fazio was born in Termini Imerese, Sicily, in December 2005 and he began playing the violin at age seven. From 2013 he Studied the violin with Mr. Maurizio Rocca of the Palermo Conservatory.

 

As a solo violin in July 2015 he was in the 6th National Competition "Eliodoro Sollima" in Enna, where he won the 3rd prize in the category up to 9 years. On 1st December 2016 he won the 1st prize at the 25th edition of the International Competition "Gianluca Campochiaro", Pedara (Catania), in the category up to 10 years.

 

He currently lives in Campofelice di Roccella (Palermo) with his family; he is attending the 1st year of secondary school and here he's a member of the Youth Orchestra "GB Cinà", with which he is ranked 1st in the 21th edition of the National Competition for young musicians "Benedetto Albanese", Caccamo (Palermo).

 

In Addition to the violin he has recently begun also to study the piano.
